Back in 1998,  Jason at the age of 27 still hadn't found his calling.  But when he fell into the position of 'guide and dog handler' while just looking for a cabin to stay for the winter,  he knew that everything that he learned throughout his life was for this. 

Kachemak Kennels sled dogs tours are anywhere from a short 1/2 hour ride to a full season of adventure.  Guests have also come for a full week of back country adventure with sled dogs.  When you contact us, tell us what you expect and desire.  We will customize your tour according to your personality, level of experience and the duration of which you want your adventure to last. 

The winter tour 2008 season has already started and can last into early May
